Kemitip (Austroeupatorium inulifolium) is a plant species in Asteraceae, perennial shrub, 1-5 m tall, cylindrical stems that are erect and branched, young green stems are covered with thick short hair, whereas old stems are brown and woody.

A. inulifolium has a facing leaf, elongated triangle with an elliptical base and a sharp tip, 7-18 cm long, 2.5-8 cm wide, green, a main bone in the middle with minor pinnate bones and a long stem 0.5-3 cm.

The flower has a head with a diameter of 2-3 mm, a length of 5-6 mm, arranged in a large corymb terminal, each head consisting of 3-4 involucral brackets that cover 10-15 creamy white, florets have a corolla for a length of 4-5 mm and fragrant.

Seeds ride on winds to spread and grow quickly to colonize vacant land, curbside, agricultural areas, natural forests, plantations, grasslands, riparian zones, disturbed land, shrubs, waterways, wetlands, open slopes and moist areas on altitude 100-2000 m.
