Walang burem (Valanga chloropus)

Walang burem (Valanga chloropus) is an animal species in Acrididae, living arborial in primary forests, bushes and low plants, trees in open habitats and river banks, solitary living where hanging alone on a low plant with a distance of three meters with other similar species.

V. chloropus has a slender body and is mostly filled with wings, dull brown or brownish white with dull black decoration on the left and right side. Dorsal has a lighter color with dull brown and free from black trimmings.

The long wings extend far beyond the length of the thighs, the ends are rounded with conical folds and each side has linear lines that curve backwards. Brown head, big brown eyes and a pair of short brown antennas.

A pair of large hind legs, which have angular, dull brown or brownish white with two or three vertical outlines and a dull black color. The joint has black decoration. The back has a long row of thorns, sharp and brown.
