Kempiar (Caryanda spuria)

Kempiar (Caryanda spuria) is an animal species in Acrididae, medium-sized grasshoppers, 13-24 mm long, has a glamorous color, sex dimorphism in which females have a larger size, commonly found in forests, grasslands, farmlands and bushes road side.

C. spuria has elytra and wings that are not fully developed when they reach adulthood and are therefore unable to fly. The head is triangular, the eyes are large and brown, the antennae are thick and brown, the legs are brown with black joints.

The head is blue or green. The back is shiny blue with black stripes, the belly has a golden brown color. Males and females are similar in color to shiny and striking, golden brown and yellowish green.

Males have a shiny blue color with black stripes. Females have a larger size, shiny green with broader black stripes. Kempiar inhabit the bush in open forest and perch on leaves. Separate appearances where perched on a plant several meters away.

Sojiwan Temple or Candi Sojiwan or Candi Sajiwan is a Buddhist monument in the Kewu Plain , village of Kebon Dalem Kidul, Prambanan District, Klaten Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia.
