Oriental longheaded locust (Acrida cinerea) is an animal species in the Acrididae, arboreal insects, green or brown grasshoppers with elongated head, wings, long hind legs, spending time perched in the bush in forests and agricultural land.

A. cinerea has a predominantly bright green or brown color. The head is square with sharp angles, elongated, sharp tip and ends in a pair of flat and thick antennae. The eyes are elliptical and yellowish brown.
