Papat bug (Coridius fuscus) is an animal species in Dinidoridae, arboreal insect, large and sturdy size, ovate to oblong, head and pronotum have a lateral keel, scutellum short and blunt, upper surface of the body covered by wings, a pair of thick antennae, live in the bush and low trees.

C. fuscus has a shield-shaped body, black or brownish black, rough surface, the margins have yellowish brown stripes. The upper surface covered by the wings has a reddish brown color.
