C. rosimon has black antennae with white rings and tips. The male has a white head and between the eyes. Palpi, chest and abdomen white with black alternating and bordered by white on the sides.
The female is similar to the male but with the black markings on the top and bottom wider. The common pierrot spends its time in bushes, riverbanks, open forests in karst ecosystems and lots of sun.
