Lonsum vine (Cissus adnata) is a species of plant in the Vitaceae, shrub, slender, climbs onto surrounding vegetation for support, attaches itself using red tendrils, stems 5-15 m long, cylindrical or square and branched.

Simple leaves and long stalks 1.5-7 cm. Leaf blade heart-oval, 6-11 cm long, 5-8 cm wide, 3-5 basal veins, 5-6 pairs of lateral veins, heart-shaped base, notches rounded or blunt and angular, sharply toothed edges on each side and pointed end.

Flowers in umbels and stalks in bunches of 1.5-4.5 cm. Flower stalk 1.5-2.5 mm. Shoots oblong, 1.5-2 mm long, rounded or blunt ends. Calyx wavy. The petals are oval in shape and 1.3-1.7 mm long. 4-merous flower.

The fruit is round, 6-7x5-6 mm and one seed.
