Sendri (Elatostema parvum)

Sendri (Elatostema parvum) is a plant species in the Urticaceae, an upright growing shrub, about 30 cm high, the stems are not woody, cylindrical or linearly angled, green or brown in color and grow to form dense colonies on the rainforest floor.

E. parvum has leaves sitting alternately along the stem. The upper side is dark green and wavy. The leaf base is attached to the stem and has no stalk. Leaves are oval, asymmetrical, apex sharp, serrated margins and irregular pinnate veins.
