Sendri (Elatostema parvum)

Sendri (Elatostema parvum) is a plant species in the Urticaceae, an upright growing shrub, about 30 cm high, the stems are not woody, cylindrical or linearly angled, green or brown in color and grow to form dense colonies on the rainforest floor.

E. parvum has leaves sitting alternately along the stem. The upper side is dark green and wavy. The leaf base is attached to the stem and has no stalk. Leaves are oval, asymmetrical, apex sharp, serrated margins and irregular pinnate veins.

Inflorescences in panicles, attached to the stems in the leaf axils, green and then turn brown. The flowers have stalks or no stalks. It grows to form colonies on the rainforest floor at an elevation of 1500 meters.

Sengon gall rust ( Uromycladium falcatarium ) is a species of fungi in Raveneliaceae, grows on molucca albizia ( Falcataria moluccana ) as the host plant, the symptoms vary widely and sometimes are not obvious, the host stem shows brownish lumps to kill slowly. U. falcatarium infects host shoots at the age of 2-3 weeks which causes the leaves to curl, leg, do not develop normally and fall off easily.
