Patis rattan (Calamus unifarius)

Patis rattan (Calamus unifarius) is a species of plant in the Arecaceae, a dense shrub, grows climbing up to 50 meters, cream colored stems, stem diameter with midrib up to 30 mm, diameter without midrib 25 mm and internode length up to 30 cm.

C. unifarius has green leaf midribs with black horizontal spines, spines up to 2 cm long, climbing tools in the form of cyrs or pigtails with a length of 100 cm. Knee clear.

The leaves are up to 3 meters long and the stems are 3.5 cm long. The minor leaves are lanceolate, 15-20 on the right and left of the rakis, arranged pinnately irregularly. Minor leaves are up to 60 cm long and up to 17 cm wide.
