L. decumana has oppositely grown leaves, long stalks dark green or blackish or reddish, cylindrical in shape and often has a linear line on the upper side.
Leaf blade heart-shaped or broad oblong or oblong, pointed tip, serrated margin, a main vein in the middle and many pinnate veins, wavy surface, dark green above, pale and hairy underside.
The flowers grow in panicles in the axils of the leaves, have long, erect, branched stems and are dark green or blackish or reddish in color. Jambe nettle grows in forests, agricultural lands, abandoned places, open places with lots of sunlight in tropical climates.
