H. billardieri has a half-spherical shape and a shiny, yellow head with a pair of black, round plots. A pair of antennas appears on the left and right with enlarged and yellow tips.
The second segment is oval, yellow in color with a black vertical band in the middle and horizontal on the rear mergin. The third segment is yellow with black rectangular stripes, serving as a wing cover with the door in the center.
The legs have several joints and are yellow in color. Jenar lady beetles form colonies of large trees including acacia, nesting in leaves by forming circular bumps.
